THE MIXED UP KIDD’S love for mixing started back in 2000 when he went to a mates in Plymouth(England) and there were a set of technic 1210’s, having been listening to dj’s mixing since 1996 from the happy hardcore scene, there was an instant attraction to them… And after learning to mix TRANCE for several years and always having the little gems that would have people asking “what’s this, haven’t heard this before” knew that he had something to give the clubbing generation, but in 2003 T.M.U.K moved back to Wales(U.K) and lost touch with mixing, until a local night promoting local hard house DJ’S…

 

After getting chatting to the promoter and becoming friends he was back to mixing but this time it was HARD HOUSE and this new vibe got him wanting more and to learn more about and how to make music. So he enrolled at a music production & djing course in Cardiif, whilst there he learnt more about mixing and music production, but there was only one love whilst there and it was mixing and with that collecting vinyal records mainly white labels the little gems that got people asking “WHAT IS THAT” from bootlegs to mash-ups he knew what worked and when to put them in his set..

 

From the record shop where he bought his records he met a guy who he had been listening too back in the happy hardcore days, none other than CALLY( of cally & juice) of which had his own night in Cardiff. So after being handed a flyer one night he went along, and using the fact he was in a “music production & djing course” he got chatting to the legend that is MARK E.G and after listening to his set thinking “some of the records are way harder than what I play“. He got asking what that different sound was, the answer was HARDSTYLE!!! So from that day on T.M.U.K know he had to be different if he was to get noticed, so after taking time out and honing the vision of what he wanted to put in his sets to make the crowd dance…

 

In 2010 he re-launched his quest to be the one people wanted to hear and after playing several on-line radio stations, his friends requests were starting to come in more and more and still people often ask about the tracks he uses!!!
