Southern Cross Music has been set up purely to showcase the ever-expanding wealth of dance music producers that hail from under the Southern Cross. With a view to cover the full spectrum of house, breaks, techno, dub, hip hop, drum and bass, trance, psytrance and harder styles, it is purely for artists from the southern regions of the world.

Until now, producers from down under have never had this kind of platform from which to launch themselves. We’ll be dedicating our time to showcasing these artists, making the most of today’s technological advances in distribution and promotion to ensure their music is heard all over the globe.

And how better to celebrate the launch than with a PARTY!!

Well here it is , the long awaited first release on the reformed Fevah music label , over the next few months, Fevah records will be slowly introducing the next era of production maestros and future stars, continuing to serve up a selection of huge hard trance & pure trance anthems, heavy pounding twisted hoover servings of hard house, but also with the coming of age and the ever changing tastes and needs of dance enthusiasts across the globe, this new era will see the Fevah Music team adding to its arsenal of 4 new Genres.

Contact Recordings bring you their latest release, dishing up two different styles of Hard House - one side hard and the other side funky.

Side A is brought to you by Jon BW and the harder mix of the release, this is packed full of energy and dark synths - definitely a track from the harder end DJ’s. The flip side is Nuff Respekt by Jon BW and Simon Paul, a funky tune that’s been played all over the UK by the biggest DJ’s on the circuit. It has been featured on the Tidy Weekender X album, and both tracks were rated 4/5 by Ed Real in a recent I-DJ Magazine.

This is by far the biggest release Contact has had and can be bought at all good online record stores.

The first release from the Masif crew on vinyl in 2006. This anthem is based on DJ Jan’s “X-Santo” which was a Hard Dance club anthem in 2000. Remixes included on this 12″ package include the Edison Factor and K-Series mixes.

The Edison Factor’s club friendly Hard Dance mix has been on high rotation for many DJ’s including Phil Reynolds, Rob Tiserra, Lisa Lashes and Phil York. The new K-Series Hard Trance mix is currently being hammered by Andy Whitby, Steve Hill and Technikal. A huge package from the Masif crew - another essential vinyl on the label. (more…)
