Southern Cross Music has been set up purely to showcase the ever-expanding wealth of dance music producers that hail from under the Southern Cross. With a view to cover the full spectrum of house, breaks, techno, dub, hip hop, drum and bass, trance, psytrance and harder styles, it is purely for artists from the southern regions of the world.

Until now, producers from down under have never had this kind of platform from which to launch themselves. We’ll be dedicating our time to showcasing these artists, making the most of today’s technological advances in distribution and promotion to ensure their music is heard all over the globe.

And how better to celebrate the launch than with a PARTY!!

For the first time in 5 years the sounds of Fevah will resonate through the walls of the city’s biggest dance venue, (the birthplace of Fevah in Wellington) Imerst.

To welcome in 2008 we will be putting together another insane production spread across 3 dance floors with over 20 djs blending all types of dance music whether it be HARDHOUSE, TRANCE, ELECTRO, BREAKS, FUNK or TECHNO, it will all be on offer to ensure you go into the new year in true Fevah style. To make the night even more special, the crew will not just be bringing you one headliner for the occasion but two main acts!! To top it off they will both be performing LIVE sets with exclusive material yet too be tried out on the capitals dancefloors.

This New Years, Fevah are honoured to bring you one of the TRUE UK PIONEERS of what we know today as NRG. CAPTAIN TINRIB is one of a very select few who was there at the beginning and helped to shape the hard-nrg scene into what we know today. And what better way to compliment the occasion that to team him up with New Zealands very own hot property and Fevah NZ Residents, HIGH DOSAGE!!

After a 2 and a half year absence Fevahs “harder faster” clubnite Fahrenhite has returned. Maya bar in Blair St will play host to this event and with the Fevah residents playing alongside a mixture of some of the citys favourite djs, this promises to be huge.

The night will kick off a little more sedately than normal with some slightly down tempo beats with CJ Fallowfield and Garreth H from Mainevent, then leading into what you know and love, 6 hours of high nrg intense dance floor action.

If you want to ensure your entry on the night, make sure to get there nice and early as it will fill up fast and as its strictly first come first served, dont be left standing outside the smoking area trying to catch a piece of the action.
